Hurricane 'Harvey'

Panic and escapes

Panic has invaded the population. Some people have tried to escape in their cars, but that has created bigger problems, since the vehicles get stuck in the water. Several tornadoes have touched the suburbs of the city. In the Missouri City sector, west of Houston, a tornado left at least 50 homes destroyed. And the rain does not stop. According to the National Weather Service between Saturday and Sunday morning Houston and Galveston had received 60 centimeters of water.

The city of Houston (Texas) the fourth most populated in the United States, is under water. The various canals that cross the city and its suburbs began to give way Saturday night due to heavy rains caused by the storm Harvey since Friday. So far there are six deaths accounted for. In some areas of Houston, water has reached the roofs of homes, flooding entire roads and neighborhoods. The airports and the main communication channels are closed. Faced with the forecast that the rain continue at this rate for days, President Donald Trump has announced that he will go to Texas on Tuesday.
